The A's are committed to being more than just a winning baseball team. We plan to contribute to our community though community funds for charitable organizations, local scholarship programs, programs to encourage reading and math in grades 1-8, a variety of sports programs - and that's only the beginning. In addition, our partner Cisco Systems has increased its outreach in the Fremont area.

	The Fremont Baseball Village will create 13,000 full-time annual equivalent construction jobs, and 1,762 full-time annual equivalent non-construction related jobs.

	The Baseball Village will produce $15 million per year in redevelopment area generated real estate taxes.

	Fremont's general fund will receive an additional $3.6 million per year in sales taxes and other revenue from the Baseball Village this new revenue can be used to fund critical services.

	The anticipated ballpark will be built with a combination of private equity and the application of the value of land use entitlements that will be generated by the overall project.
