he Fremont Baseball Village is more than just another stadium.

The Fremont Baseball Village and architecturally integrated ballpark will be a unique environment in which to live, work, play and learn, unlike any other destination in the country. The project includes not only a new ballpark for the Athletics, but also pedestrian-friendly housing (including a significant portion of designated affordable housing), a brand-new state-of-the-art elementary school, upscale restaurant/shopping options, and additional entertainment for all Fremont residents to enjoy.

The A’s recognize that Fremont is a unique place – the plan for the “Fremont Baseball Village” is equally unique. This new neighborhood will create thousands of local jobs and millions of dollars per year in tax revenue for Fremont’s general fund. In addition, the Baseball Village will support and enhance local public transportation in Fremont. This community is designed to encourage pedestrian activity and includes links to BART, CalTrain and ACE Train services.
